Hey, First of all, aliens were anihilated! Yup, the independence day event is gone … I hope you got some decent items ;D First of all, I had to make new feature – creature rarity – yup, some creatures will be much rarer than others (currently, this applies to demigods only). The rarer the creature the more XP you gain. Say that creature is 3 times rarer than the common creature – you gain +30% extra XP while creature's stats are the same! Now I have added 10 demigods and they are on the loose … everywhere in the world! They all are greek mythology based demigods (I think so). They are 3 times rarer than any other creature. You will identify them easily because they will be displayed in slightly different colour. Now these are demigods and their level range (yup, random level once again!): Achilles - 800~1200 Amphion - 25~75 Heracles - 1000~1500 Minos - 50~200 Orion - 100~350 Perseus - 500~800 Theseus - 350~700 Troy - 650~1000 Zethus - 200~500 Vali – 10~50 Will be adding more to this god/demon thing soon! Enjoy battling powerful demigods ![]() Mount Olympus coming soon … it will be much more advanced than deeper mines, trust me ![]() Enjoy ![]()

what's vali supposed to be the god of? soft candy?
| Posted by Zhadnost on July 6, 2012 | |
The only Vali I know is from Norse Mythology. A quick peek at http://www.pantheon.org normally solves this sort of query. (and a good place to get names from).

Okay, maybe not all of them are from Greek Mythilogy ![]() Gods will be much stronger but demons even stronger ![]()

After all are in places perhaps an event/quest where you can join one side against the other? Maybe some sort of global event, where the winning teams (maybe based on total kills of the ones that take part in it, as in total gods killed, or total demons) will get an reward. Just a suggestion :0

Yeah, I plan on doing something like that ... back in HT 1, we had daily event where top 3 players who did most actions that day got credits ... maybe I should do something like this too? I bet Zhadnost would be in top 3 all the time lol.

He already owns most of the ranks ![]()
| Posted by mzonas on July 6, 2012 | |
It is true ... he's like 24/7.

demons being more powerful than gods? then that would mean that demons rule the world of hero town and the gods are not not really gods. :/
| Posted by mzonas on July 10, 2012 | |
but then we have heroes right ![]()
| Posted by nightmare snow on July 11, 2012 | |
....heroes that you are slowly turning into villans with the thieveing and whatnot. and mortals(or heroes) are nothing next to gods.
| Posted by mzonas on July 12, 2012 | |
not yet ... but I plan on adding stronger monsters so you can level up quicker.
| Posted by nightmare snow on July 12, 2012 | |
grrrr....... levels means nothing to gods!!! they shaped the planet, humans would not exist here if it was not for them! is this how you repay them? heroes? i think not. your ungratefulness will be the downfall of hero town. you have been warned.......

I don't need bible lecture ...
| Posted by nightmare snow on July 13, 2012 | |
bible lecture....? lets just say i may not be the most religeous one...... also, christianity only has one god, and were talking about multiples here.

This Greek god I think | |
| Posted by mzonas on July 13, 2012 | |
Yup, greek gods indeed.
| Posted by nightmare snow on July 13, 2012 | |
odin, the god of gods, was killed by finrir a giant monster in the shape of a wolf. most of the norse gods died during ragnarok. i find norse mythology(it was a religion once) more interesting than greek mythology(also a religion once). no, ragnarok will not befall hero town, but at some point i may cause fimbulvetr.
| Posted by mzonas on July 14, 2012 | |
What's fimbulvetr ... I find Egyptian mythology interesting ... ra, obelisk, etc .. ![]()
| Posted by nightmare snow on July 14, 2012 | |
three winters will follow each other with no summers in between. conflicts and feuds will break out, even between families, and all morality disappear. it's almost as bad as ragnarok.
| Posted by mzonas on July 15, 2012 | |
Sounds fun ![]() | |
| Posted by nightmare snow on July 15, 2012 | |
i know right? during ragnarok, the sun and moon is eaten by two beasts(the names of which i do not remember),the dead are raised, the tree of life is set aflame, and most of the gods go into battle. also,i think the dimigods should not appear until you reach a certain level or complete a certain storyline quest, i just don't think that you should be able to encounter them right of the bat.

Coo. the dead rising and a big war breaking out, doesn't that happen in Christian Mythology too? Now, whose mythology was it that believed in ancient giants roaming the planet. I'm pretty sure it's European. (Of course Christianity also has ancients, iirc they were also called patriachs and just lived a really long time, more than 900 years for some of them).
| Posted by mzonas on August 14, 2012 | |
Will have to check them out ... could be interesting add-ons ![]()
| Posted by nightmare snow on August 14, 2012 | |
H.P. lovecraft came up with some interesting gods, maybe check those out?
| Posted by redbeard71 on August 14, 2012 | |
Christianity also had giants that are half human half fallen angel
| Posted by mzonas on August 16, 2012 | |
Yeah fallen angels will be common creatures in the heaven or hell lol ...
| Posted by Zhadnost on August 16, 2012 | |
Do we get to see the devil trapped in ice in the 7th circle?
| Posted by mzonas on August 16, 2012 | |
What mythology is that from? ![]()
| Posted by Zhadnost on August 16, 2012 | |
It's from Dante's inferno. So, loosely christian. According to some famous vampire film Judas is encased in ice in the centre of hell. In inferno, he is there, but it's the devil that is trapped. Maybe the fall was the result of a more serious crime than whispering something to a guard.
