Cheating the uncheatable
Today I realised how out of “technology” I have become. What I mean is this: with all this IM work and what not I have lost interested in keeping up to date with the latest technologies, software and computers …
That led me to remember my earlier days when I was geekest of all geeks. I remember I used to play games, especially on PC and Nintenda 3DS.
One of my “geekiest” memories is the fact that I could cheat on Nintendo handheld like crazy. I would use 3DS save editor to actually edit my stats on certain games.
How this works is simple – you save the “saved game” file on your computer. Then you have to use the software to safely edit the saved file. Then you replace the original save file with the newly edited save file. That’s it! I could easily cheat on uncheatable device.
I remember I loved pokemon games. That passion has passed through to today actually and I play monster collection games on my iPhone.
